Nickel-Copper

BVG has a proven track record in the exploration, estimation and mining of various types of nickel-copper-PGE systems from laterites to intrusive and extrusive sulphides, with several new discoveries in the Pilbara, Goldfields and Great Southern.

The key to these discoveries has been:

• to evaluate existing geological models incorporating the latest scientific research and geological data
  
• adapting the models to explain all the observed evidence
• testing the model effectively through mapping and drilling
  
• add value with associated base metal enrichment such as cobalt, scandium, vanadium and titanium

In some cases this requires a complete re-evaluation of the concepts and assumptions that have given rise to wrong interpretations, poor targeting and thus systematic exploration failure.
