BVG has consulted to mining companies and prospectors over many years on how best to unlock the potential of their projects and add value through a staged approach to mining and exploration. We have a highly successful track record in brown-fields exploration and resource / reserve growth.
Additionally BVG has actively mined deposits and so will bring hands-on, practical experience to compliment a sound geological understanding, and can advise on the safest, easiest and most cost-effective approaches to take.
We will provide technical assistance or supervision for both open pit and underground operations in the following areas:
- Resource / reserve drilling, QAQC program implementation, digital data management, contractor selection and management
- Geological and statistical modelling, QAQC reporting, resource reporting, peer review
- Geological support for mine design, geotechnical design and reserve generation
- Grade control, geological supervision, mine to mill reporting and mine reconciliation
- Digital mapping and integration of digital grade control systems into a useful form for exploration and mine planning
Providing geological support to operators and engineers during the rehabilitation of old workings |
R & D lead team member into alternative underground drilling methods, in this case a water-powered hammer by Wassara in conjunction with Rock Team |
Captivating the imagination of investors enough so as to prevent most from wandering off |
Measuring dewatering flowrates - Gypsum crystal cuddy discovered whilst dewatering old workings |
Developed complex geological 3D pegmatite / porphyry model based on drill logging and damage mapping in large underground nickel mine Good correlation between geological model and the seismic event database allowed for greater geotechnical predictability of future stoping |
A deposit I like...who wouldn't? |
